PRSA WisCOMsin PR/Communications Team of the Year Award
Leonard & Finco Public Relations is proud to be part of Health Care Communicators Collaboration Team receiving the 2022 WisCOMsin PR/Communications Team of the Year Award.
During the two-year long COVID-19 pandemic, the Health Care Communicators Collaboration Team tackled tough communication issues that were never-ending. This group included a wide range of Northeastern Wisconsin public health departments and hospital systems. The success of their efforts provided a model for other regions of the state and country.

PRSA WisCOMsin Award of Excellence
L&F has been honored by the Public Relations Society of America – Northeast Wisconsin Chapter for its work with the Jackie Nitschke Center. The Award of Excellence in the Non-Profit Organization Campaign category recognized L&F’s communication and outreach efforts to increase public awareness of the substance abuse treatment facility in downtown Green Bay.

The L&F team, alongside the Green Bay Area Public School District and Howard-Suamico School District, received a PRSA WisCOMsin Award of Excellence for a collaborative news conference regarding pandemic safety!

American Association of Port Authorities Communication Award

Free Enterprise Award
Leonard & Finco president, Susan Finco, was presented with the Rotary Club of Green Bay’s 2015 Free Enterprise Award. Along with being the first female recipient, she is the first small business owner to be recognized with the award.
The award recognizes business and community leaders who exemplify the Rotary’s “Four-Way Test” relating to truthfulness, fairness, goodwill and ethics. Susan demonstrates these traits through her tireless energy and commitment to the community and businesses she serves.

Outstanding Emerging Leader Award
L&F’s Cole Buergi, VP of Business Development, was presented the Outstanding Emerging Leader award at the Brown County United Way’s annual banquet.
Cole has been involved with the United Way for a number of years and has helped plan and coordinate the Springfest and the Happy Halloween events. He and his family were also instrumental in sponsoring the first Born Learning Trail located in Brown County in memory of Carl and Judy Buergi.

L&F was thrilled to be a part of the annual PRemier Awards event where our team earned several awards for public relations work. The event is sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) – Northeast Wisconsin Chapter to recognize the exceptional practice of public relations by professionals throughout Northeast Wisconsin. PRemier Awards
The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) – Northeast Wisconsin Chapter recognized the exceptional practice of public relations by professionals throughout Northeast Wisconsin at the annual PRemier Awards. Leonard & Finco was proud to be the recipients of 10 awards, including the prestigious Grand Award. Learn more.

Cornerstone Award
Leonard & Finco was awarded the “Cornerstone” award from the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce during the Annual Small Business Recognition Luncheon.
The award recognizes a company that exemplifies a community pillar of strength and a company that plays an active role in the local business community, business associations and volunteer groups. Recipients must also demonstrate growth in sales, employees and / or service since inception.

Community Leadership Award
L&F’s president, Susan Finco, was awarded the “Community Leadership Award” from the Rotary Club of Green Bay.
The annual award recognizes someone who has shown leadership in Brown County, within their own industry, excel at growth and job creation for their organization or the community, and follow the Rotary’s “Four-Way Test” relating to truthfulness, fairness, goodwill and ethics. In addition, the business or organization should have $15 million or less in annual sales and 5 to 99 employees.

The Leonard & Finco team was honored to be recognized for our public relations work at the first annual Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) – Northeast Wisconsin Chapter PRemier Awards.
